How useful is the RT-32CTL in practice?
I was watching a video with the RT-32CTL being used with some ControlTL receivers and two things stood out to me: you need to press test on the transmitter to push changes from the AC3 and selecting channels on the L-358 seemed really cumbersome.
It seems like it'd be a lot quicker to simply slide the AC3 zone to "off" when wanting to meter a specific light than to fiddle with the menus. And, since you need the transmitter with you anyway to make power adjustments, it seems just as easy to press measure button on the L-358 before hitting test on the transmitter.
As it stands 90 bucks is a little steep for me if all it does is save me a button press. Is there a workflow changing advantage that I'm missing?
