#2-nice pose, facial expression and eye position but not for the shadows on her face. Appears you had 2 lights, on subject R + L where the light on subjects Left angled up and light on subjects right angled down. Light pointing up can cause some weird shadows. The shadow on her right eye could work but not the shadow to the right of her chin or the left of her face. What look were you going for here?

#4-nicely done and like the B+W

Really like photo 1. Like the post processing you did. I think it might have been stronger if her hair was out of her right eye, but still is a very nice image.

Thanks for your opinions!

My thought with # 2 was experimenting with light. Partly to see for himself the results, but also to hear the opinions of others.

Personally, I'm most pleased with image 1 and 4. It does not bother me that the model's hair obscuring one eye, on the contrary, I think it gives more "mystery" to the subject.

Best regards
Denny

#2-next shoot try a reflector to remove the shadows on her face and change the angle of the right light.

#1- the pose works but its the background that struggles in this shot.

An interesting series.

#1 - An interesting facial expression, however - there is little light reaching her eyes. Contrast the eyes in this shot with #2.

#2. I'm all for cropping off the top of heads, but in this one it is too much for my taste. The strong shadows on her face detract for me too.
Her left arm is getting a lot of attention in this shot. It shows larger and as bright as her face.

#3. Obviously a shot to show the tattoo. Well done.

#4 Nice sharp eyes and the scarf makes a good frame for the face. It seems a bit busy to me. The scarf in the bottom left corner almost seems like another hand.
