Thanks Dan, glad you like them both. Those are pretty much the only two Landscape type blogs / writings I read. I spent a few days with Guy last year and I love everything about his style - instruction, writing and even philosophy. He IS indeed the real deal. BTW, did you read his article about "success" he posted a few days ago? He certainly has a gift for writing lucidly.
I also love Michael Frye. I hope I can take one of his classes one day in Yosemite.

He rarely writes about gear - off hand I can't think of one gear post of his I've read - but he writes, often beautifully and perceptively, about more important issues.
For folks who are landscape-oriented photographers, my friend Michael Frye regularly shares beautiful photographs, great commentary, and technical and how-to articles on a variety of subjects.
