This otter has been cutting down bullrushes and dragging them to a flattened-out spot in the bullrushes at the edge of our pond. This could be her building a lair to bear her young.

Excellent captures. I've never seen them build like that. Around here they tend to stay in abandoned beaver housesand cavities in the river banks but possible you managed to capture something unique related to bearing of young.
