Hi,

I was looking at this photograph here:
http://www.saatchionline.com/art/Photography-reflections/384643/1501194/view

I became curious about possible brand
names the photographer may have
used to print his work.

Would you please recommend me
some brands for cotton print papers
to be printed from digital files. I don't
own a printer. If you happen to know
of labs that may do nice quality prints
in black and white, I would also appre-
ciate it.

Thank you in advance, kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

Canson, Hahnemuhle, Crane Museo, Epson...

Look for papers called "cotton rag" or similar.

Your best bet for printing on higher quality substrates is to look for a fine art printer. Typical "pro" labs don't offer higher quality substrates such as those from Canson and Hahn.

I use a specially converted 9890 K7 B&W piezography printer for glossy and matte B&W prints, including those on fine art cotton rag papers. The quality of B&W is better than anything I'm able to produce on my 9900.
