Wow!
Eric- this really brings home the tough life of both hunters and their prey.
AND it's a terrific image.
I suspect that leopards don't like to hunt zebras because of the danger of being kicked during the battle.
Also, zebras are too heavy for them to drag up a tree and enjoy several days of feasting without worry from lions or hyenas.
This mighty beast probably only got one big meal before one of its two nemeses caught the scent and drove it away.
