I would say 50mm is the least lens you use but always in the bag, for some reason this focal length has it's own mystique that you always want to get rid of it but in the end you keep it still.

BTW I have this 50/1.4 lottery AF winner lens from Sigma that I'm trying to unload and this morning I shoot with it and my mind changed again.. . It's hard to find good copy of this lens and again I hardly use it...let go or not?

My least used "keeper" is the EF 135/2L. I don't use it much at all, since getting an EF 70-200/2.8L IS II, two years ago. I keep the 135/2L as backup, because it's my only AF lens at f/2.8 or faster that has good enough IQ to serve as a bondfide backup at 135mm.

I use my 50/1.2L and 85/1.2L II quite often. I recently sold my 24/1.4L and 35/1.4L because I didn't use them at all, since getting a 1DX last summer, with its excellent high ISO capability.

50/1.8 II. I have it but rarely use it. There's no (meaningful) way to get rid of it, anyway.

I have a Zeiss 135 f:3.5 with an eos adaptor. Nice lens but it hardly gets used.

Canon 50mm F1.4 USM . . . only busted it out when I needed the shallow DOF and low light capabilities. . . then I got a 5D Mark II and used my F2.8 lenses without worry . . . I still pack it on every venture just in case . . .

Either my 14 Samyang or the 70-200f2.8ISmk1 tie for this. I just don't need those focal lengths as much.

The 16-35 and 24-70 tie for most used. The 17TSE is between these extremes.

Hardly ever used - 17-55, 17-40,24-70 v1,70-2002.8 v1 (the v1's use stop me from buying the v2)

Sometimes lots: 100-400, 85/1.2, zeiss 15/2.8, zeiss 35/1.4.

Used lots - 24-105, 600f4v2, 200-400, ts17, zeiss 25/2

I use all of the lenses I carry a lot. My only mostly unused lens is the 50mm compact macro which stays at home. Of course I only have 5 lenses.

Most used of what I carry in order: 500, 24-105, 70-200, and 16-35.

I don't keep any extra lenses in my bag. Too old to carry extra stuff I ain't gonna use. I have plenty of lenses I rarely use in the lens cupboard, but so do most of us.

So many unused lenses, so little time.
Several sit unused in a bag in the closet.

My favorite lenses that don't get the use they deserve:
Contax Zeiss 21 f2.8
Contax Zeiss 35-70 f3.4
Minolta Rokkor 58 f1.2
Canon 85 f1.8
Canon 70-200 f4 IS

Least used lens is my 85/1.8. But I keep it because the lens is good quality for its price, and I wouldn't gain a lot from selling it either. The lens finds rarely its way into my bag.

I'm not using my 16-35 as much as I used to especially after getting my 1DX (FF) and now the 24-70 II. I just can't part with it though. Having the option to go from 16-200 at 2.8 in three solid zooms is like a security blanket.

My Samyang 14mm is my least used lens. I use my 17-40 for most of my wide angle shots except for astro - which is where the Samyang 14 shines. For the price, it's relatively inexpensive to keep in the bag for limited use. My other lenses get good camera time depending on the season and my mood. I don't do this for my living, so I don't have a "workhorse" sort of lens.

Least used is the Canon 15mm f/2.8 Fish Eye. I used it a lot 10 years ago on 10D when no wide angle lens was available. But the 10~22mm replaced the fish eye for the crop sensors. It got new life when I purchased a FF camera in 2005 and the full effect could be realized. However, the FE effect can easily be over used and I rarely shoot with it unless I find an ideal scene that won't shout FE. The FE is small, relatively light weight and fits in a small corner of the bag, waiting for rare occasions it gets to see the light of day.

Least used is Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II; currently up for sale on Amazon. I hardly ever use it but refused to put it up for sale for years because the few times a year I use it, I'm blown away by its IQ. Funnily the most used lens in my kit is also the cheapest; Tamron 28-75.

My least used lens is the 70-200 f4 IS. It gets sandwiched by the f2.8 II and the 70-300L and really hasn't been used at all lately. It's a shame too because it's a great lens. The 50 f1.2 probably takes second place. I need to make a new year's resolution to use it more.

The 70-300L has been my most used lens as of late.

Canon 35-350L. It's a clean copy with quiet AF and great IQ, and I'm always afraid that if I sell it, I'll eventually want/need another one, and I won't be able to find a good one, or will be tempted to spend a lot more to get a 28-300L.

I hate to admit it but I agree with arize84. My least used lens is the 70-200 f2.8 II. I can't bring myself to sellling it. It's like you have to have this lens.

I hoped that I would have had a revelation when I got FF, but no spark, nothing. It's a great lens and mine is very sharp. I'm going to give it another try in 2014 and if there's still nothing, It might be on the block.

I've three lenses that see the same night duty, 28/50/85 non-Ls, 95% of my shooting is daytime so they are rarely used but when needed a must have.

Otherwise the 10-22 or 17-40, 100L, 70-200 and 300 f4L IS cover everything else

My 85mm f1.8 gets the least attention in my bag. Only time I use it if my 70-200mm f2.8 II on my 5d mk3 can't get enough light, which rarely happens.
