Well as I have no vision of "dreamy" in the context of the cityscpae of a monster city, I like the second better. The strong contrast along with the smooth colors transition into the background, and the little airplane make it for me.
I really like these portrait orientation compositions. While I have seen plenty of images taken from here before, this is the first time I have seen them taken vertically. I really like them a lot. Nicely done.
I prefer the "dreamy" treatment, however, in both photos I would consider reducing the vignette effect and desaturating a bit the blue sky at the top of the frame.
I've been up there a couple of times and wasn't lucky enough for the mountains in the background to be as clear as they are in the first one, they really help make it, so therefore it's the first me for me all the way.
Victoria Peak, been there few times. I prefer the first one, the sonnar really makes the dreamy look work very well. The second shot is doesnt work for me as well as the first, maybe it is the color or pp.
