Another magnificent post, Don.
Eric's statement echos what I first thought about the title- even as I was opening the post.
Global warming is here- but how it affects nature (and humans) is a story still being told.
It's fair to say that whereas some wildlife will suffer in the long run- others will benefit.
The tragedy is that human industrial developments are at least partly responsible for these massive changes- and that isn't natural.

Thanks Paul. The bears come right up to the vehicles; actually too close for worthwhile images. This guy was approaching and quite curious. I shot with my 200-400 with 1.4 TC built in and an external 1.4 TC giving me up to 784MM. That is more than adequate for most situations. Don

Thanks Charlie. It would be a shame to lose these bears. It's a great way to see these creatures at close range and it is safe for the bears and humans and causes little if any consequences to the bears. I'd gladly go again if you come along. Don
