I thought the Mamiya RZ67 focusing is performed with a bellows on the body?
Meaning, there isn't any focusing mechanism on the lenses?
You gonna use a bellows on your Canon EOS mount body?

The adapter has a built-in helical, which is possible due to the massive difference in register between any 35mm mount and RZ mount. It looks like a very solid, if somewhat awkward combination.

Cool, I'd like to know how well this works.

I sincerely hope that no one thought I was trying to be condescending, or whatever.
I'd really like to know how well this would work.

Ok, I"ve a question.....Will the effective focal length change when using this? I have the 50mm, 110mm and the 180 RZ Lenses..... Thanks.

No, the focal length does not change, that is when using your RZ180 you get the same result in FOV as putting a 180mm Leica or Nikon on the camera.

I hope for an interesting Mamiya RZ image thread or new additions to current or archived medium format / Mamiya lenses to digital threads

Would love the 110mm with this but it's a huge combo on my A7r.

I have to wonder why something like this would be useful? Yes, any of the RZ lenses could be tilt/shift on a 35mm platform... but the widest is 50mm, which isnt' exactly wide from a T/S perspective. The RZ lenses draw beautifully but are at their best on the original 6x7 format, I think.

I guess something like the 140mm might be interesting. Other than that, of course if you already have the lenses, it would be nice to be able to use them. But I would not start building a lineup of RZ lenses, especially because the adapters are not T/S.

I guess the only possibly advantage is by using the RZ lenses will be utilizing only the "sweet" spot of the lens??

G....

Sweet indeed

I should have been lower, my comps are meh.. but you get the idea
These are raw files converted to jpegs via Capture One Pro jpeg default settings

I used the 110mm and the 180mm.. wide open then stopped to F8. Focused and shot using live view.

I'm liking the look.
