Hi, just got back last week from a recent trip to Myanmar, a beautiful country and people. Here are some of the images that I've processed, hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do. Thanks.

To take the image below, I had t carefully inserted my lens between and passed the iron bars of the shrine's gate without scratching my lens. Most of these shrines or stupas iron gates are locked, unless if the gate keepers are there, then they can open it for you. I think you could still see my shadow in the middle of the image.

Excellent shots. Last one is my favorite. Binh, did you take the balloon ride to be able to shoot that or is there a vantage point where you can shoot these?

Thanks in advance. You dont have to take the balloon ride to shoot these. The balloon ride costs around $400 per person for 1/2 hour, if I had more time there, I would take the ride.

To take these shots, you'd need to be on top of some high enough temples with the views of these stupas in the front and also in the direction of the sunrise, so you'd need to have a local person who would know which spots are best for sunrise. I just happened to hire a horse carriage driver in front of my hotel, who took me there on his stupa at 5am. The stupa that we went to, was obviously not in the condition for regular tourists, but only for the locals, because the stair to climb up to the top was kind of not in good shape, but not too dangerous either, just not in the shape for regular tourists, but the beauty of this is that we were all by ourselves on top of this waiting for the sunrise.

Also, I did not anticipate that the 70-200mm lens was such an important lens for these images instead of my wide angle one, and I used it for the entire time for this location. I almost thought about leaving the 70-200mm lens home.

It might be a good time to go as soon as possible, since once the place gets more popular, it might not be the same.
