As some of you may remember from previous posts, earlier this year I spent a month travelling by boat throughout Alaska's Aleutian Islands. I've shared one or two images here before but today I thought I'd post a batch of my favourites.
I've also just put together a slideshow, highlighting this amazing region's unique and highly diverse landscape and wildlife. Click here if you'd like to check it out!
all really nice jess, you capture the beauty and diversity of these remote islands beautifully. short-tailed albatross is such a great bird, especially in north america!
Really enjoyable set Jess. You've captured some gems. Well done. What was the attraction for the fulmars and albatrosses? They seem focused on something just below the edge of the image.
The object of their affection was likely a Mackerel head as we were chumming at the time. What takes more time than processing a month's worth of photos? Washing a month's worth of fish oils and guts off your clothing!
