All are too soft.
1. Light too harsh
2. Good idea, pay attention to comp, land bisects their heads
3. Best of the bunch
4. He looks very feminine. Rethink your watermark placement.
5. Decent. Crookedness is distracting to me. Telephone pole thru his head.

Keep shooting and improving! FWIW :-)

Not to be harsh or bash you in any way, but you need to spend some serious time focusing on your technical skills.

The composition is of on most photos as is the focus. As an instructor of photography that is where I would tell you to begin. Focus on the eyes of your subject and use single point to learn to focus.

As with your other post lighting and exposure is an issue as well. I would recommend working with a pro in your area before stepping out on your own or taking a photography course.

These are suggestions I give to you to help you grow in photography if that is the path you want to take.

#3 (it's not too late to number these) has odd skin colours and lots of overexposure. Notice where the skin on her forehead has turned white? That's overexposure.

So who is choosing your settings? You,( in manual mode ) or the camera (in Av, Tv or P modes)? Or are you changing things in PP?

To get to the bottom of the soft images - what is going on with your focusing?

I mean, AF or manual?

Do you wear glasses or suffer from any form of eye degeneration?

Is your gear in workable condition?

Is it clean with no Vaseline on the front element?

Can you turn your camera to Auto, make sure your lenses are on AF, and go and shoot some high contrast images at 12pm on a sunny day and get back to us with some SOOC (non post processed) jpegs?

Thanks.
