I don't see anything about hardware calibration support, the lookup table, or specifics about the VUE 30's abilities. At the baragin basement price point there are always compromises, such as the measly 12-month warranty and limited control options in the menus.

possibly the new 24" and 32" 4k wide-gamut ones too, not sure, but the early info hints that they also have it

I ended up ordering the 2713HM. Decided that the wide gamut was not really going to buy me anything since the labs I print with use HP printers that have a more narrow gamut than sRGB.

And $3000-$4000 for a 4k monitor seems like a waste of money considering that the 2713 is 3.7k. Close enough and only $589 . The Dell U3014 is 4k (2560x1600) and is only $1000.

Yeah the 4k screens are actually 8MP if they are 16:9 and 9.2MP if they are 16:10!

So there is a pretty huge difference compared to the 2560x1200 or even x1440 screens.

i haven't seen any 2560x1200 displays. Most the the 27" monitors I'm looking at are 2560x1440 and the 30" monitors are 2560x1600 but yes I agree that 3840×2160 is in another league.
