in old, abandoned 'boys home' (correctional institute).
one of the less dramatic solar processing.

Tom- I like that I don't pay any attention to the technique- to me that's a strong plus (except for the occasional spectacular solar image).
I also like the frame within a frame aspect.
Nice image.

This is a fantastic image. I am really drawn into the depth and all the planes (behind the mirror, in the mirror, the hole in the wall - so many places to wander here.) the mannequin adds a sense of mystery. I wouldn't have guessed this was solarized. Really well done.

Superb, Tommy. I prefer 'solarized' images that are subdued as opposed to being too harsh. This one fits the bill.

many thanks, Steven. this solar routine allows more tonal range and I believe that helps.

Nice image and the processing fits the capture and mood to a "T".

Actually I tend to prefer a 4X5 ratio for many people / portrait images. This one I think needs to be 4X6 simply because of how it was shoot and to include all the necessary elements.

It's the landscapes any many other types of image I find less appealing in a vertical composition.

When I look out at the world I see it as being wider than tall, hence I tend to want photos to reflect that.
