I highly suspect all of these things will happen next year in time for Photokina (not sure about those fast MF lenses though). We will see at least one or two larger than FF new cameras and I'm betting at least one will be mirrorless with an EVF as an option. My bet is Ricoh actually does this first (they have suspiciously delayed the Pentax 645D upgrade and many think the reason is they are working on something very special as a replacement).

Interesting. I hadn't thought about it, but Ricoh would make the most sense. I keep thinking Canon might have something along these lines in the works, but then every announcement is status quo. "Here, try this new iteration of AF! It's the best yet! Otherwise, it's basically the same camera you already own."

I satisfied with the SD1 and converted Zeiss, leica, Mamyia lenses. No Bayer sensor camera for me.Now, I really, really want Sigma to release DP with interchangeable mount for using some short flange focal distance lenses, especially large format wide angle (Rodenstock, Schneider) rather than RF Leica lenses.

If Sigma could DO IT next year, I'll wait , IF NOT, I 'll hack the DP2 myself or send it hacked here:
