Perhaps a few of these images might be of interest to others.
All are scans from film: some from B&W negs, some converted from color slides.

#1. Queen Elizabeth II: I was in Hong Kong when the QE II caught fire and sank.
At the time it was being converted into a floating university.
#2. Mandalay, Burma: friendly woman smoking a gigantic cigar.
#3. Inside Alkatraz (as a tourist ).
#4. Elvis impersonator: came to my studio for a couple of shots. Not long after, I realized that I had no future operating a photo studio . But it was fun for awhile.
#5. Matterhorn: hiking down from the Gornergrat to the town of Zermatt. Some fair scenery along the way .
#6. Japan: a lovely woman stopped long enough for me to take a couple of quick shots.
#7. Pagan, Burma: inside one of the many pagoda temples in the ancient site.
#8. Jerusalem: I was next to the Wailing Wall; these people were just outside the entrance.
#9. Yucatan, Mexico: a temple at Uxmal.
#10. Tokyo: a little girl donating to a monk. Not looked upon as begging- this was just one of the ways the monasteries had of getting enough money to continue their studies and way of life. Long a part of the Japanese culture.

Great collection Charlie. That shot of the QEII could have been a front page shot in any newspaper. The portraits of the Burmese and Japanese women are beautiful. And Elvis looks pretty good.

I've seen many of these before, but they, and the ones I haven't are a Fine set of pics Charlie.
What's most interesting is knowing these are your favorites.
I've said it before, but I'll repeat myself, I think you excel most at capturing impromptu portraits, especially of children.
Some of your landscapes are excellent, as the Matterhorn pic here, but they don't have the pathos and personality of your portraits.

Little and big trinkets of your time travels just continue to make me smile Charlie. A glimpse of the big picture makes for a special 'moment' to enjoy

Alcatraz and Matterhorn are pretty sweet!

Thank you, kind souls.
I've been remiss in my timely reply- sorry.
MrChile mentions his preference for my "people shots."
I pretty much agree with him- but I chose to mix it up in this post because not everyone shares that feeling.
