What a great combination of iconic elements with the ferris wheel! The wheel does feel a bit tilted inward to me...perhaps a bit of lens correction filter would help.

Really nice image.

Thanks Dave! This is a corrected version, but I like the the energy of the original with the 35mm distortion.

Steve, really nice job....both versions! I think the 2nd feels more natural to me, but *your* eye is the most important!

Stephen,
I really like both versions, although my preference is for the second one.
Good framing, also- and I like that you included the Obelisk AND the Eiffel Tower
Gadzooks! I sure hope that's temporary.

First the "modern" glass thing in the courtyard of the finest palace in Paris.
Then the ferris wheel across the Thames from London's Parliament.
And now another ferris wheel in the classy old Place de la Concorde?
Build these things if a few bucks more of tourist money is that important- but not in the historical heart of two of the world's most magnificent and classic cities. Please.

Thanks Scott and Dave.

Charlie - I've just done a bit of research and the ferris wheel is only there from November through the end of January. So it is temporary. I like the leaning version as it appears the ferris wheel is threatening the Obelisk and the Eiffel Tower.

Stephen,
Threatening? Yes- I can see that.
Even in carnivals those things are a bit threatening. Fun, too.
Honesty forces me to admit that if this and the ferris wheel in London had been there when I was- I would have taken the rides . But still hated the one in London .
