Early 20th century Rolls Royce (I think).
Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions (in Scottsdale, Arizona) sold real classics instead of 90% muscle cars built during the late 20th century- and 9% resto-mods of cars that nobody ever loved even when they were new .
Luckily- I discovered the delightful and extensive numbers of fine automobiles auctioned off in those years.
And they all were sold with "No Reserve," meaning that the highest bid took the car.
But if you like the late '50s Chevy Delray 4-door sedan with a small-block, a 2-speed slushmatic tranny and a $30,000 paint job- you'd have hated those early-year auctions .
First in a series. Probably.
