Aguereberry Point-
In the Panamint Mts that shoot up just west of Badwater and its low-elevation surroundings.
As the regional block-folding raised this small range, the layers of rock were often tilted.
Aguereberry Point is a good place from which to notice the angles.

A question was ask on another forum about photographing "Iconic" areas. That is, how do you not present the same old image. This is an example of how to do it. Great work. Jim

Getting the "slant right" is helped along when tectonic plate movements cause parallel lines of sedimentary rock layers to tilt drastically .
