I posted a question in PP several weeks ago and Kent ask me to post what I am working on. These are 74 image panoramas converted to spheres. Original Panorama measured 6ft X 14 1/2 ft.
Thank you for taking a look and as always your comments are appreciated. Jim

I'm trying to imagine these in print @ floor to ceiling. Very experiential / visceral @ WOW / Whoa to stand in front of this. Maybe even a bit vertigo inducing.

Are these going to be on display somewhere?

Thank you Kent. These are extremely time consuming and frequently disappointing. Seems you must have the appropriate panorama or the effect does not work. I am glad these came out. I wish these were going to be on display but this will be about all the displaying I do (FM).. Jim

I've tried these before but as you said ... disappointment. You obviously overcame adversity! Did you use a tripod?

Thank you. A tripod is absolutely required. There must also be constant light, a simple composition, camera with full manual settings, and thick skin. I have saved 3 images out of 30 plus tries. Jim

I'll have to give it another try. In this instance, my cheap-o tripod will probably do the job nicely. My early attempts (from a couple years ago) were all hand held. Constant light is a good tip ... now I'm more proficient with manually managing such things than I was a couple years ago too.

Keep trying and you will get it. Go on YouTube and search small world photography and you should find several excellent tutorials. I prefer these guys:
