Adam,
Really nice shots ! No shortage of fresh cut flowers in Vegas, it seems .

I have that lens in Nikon mount and I was about to say, that is not a small lens . The corners are sharp; even at wide open aperture? Does the VC work well on that combo? Thanks!

Flowers are easy. I'm still wondering how fish can be fresh in a desert The corners wide-open appear as sharp to me on the A7r as they do non-adapted on a 6D. The VC works well - I don't see the IS shutter shock that I get with the 35mm f/2 IS, probably because the 24-70 has a lot more mass/weight.

Good to know and thanks !

I am still enjoying my Zeiss 135mm APO Sonnar. Extension tube(s) were used for these images and they were cropped, too.

Loving the flower shots above, Snapsy and Joshua. I needed a bit of cheering up (DH has stomach flu) so thoughts of Spring are lovely right now.

Was today experiencing HDR shooting in "still life" kind of setup. The limited bracketing seem to be quite challenging. Shoot this one with 2EV 3stop using wired remote and at this websize it seems OK, but at 100% there are green "hot " pixels in shadows due to 2EV being too big step between exposures for high quality work. I'll try next time the 0.7EV 5stop (maybe just throwing away images #2 and #3 from the 5 photo series), but it starts to seem that bracketing has to be done manually. Which then means that sharpness on pixel level will be lost since images has to be aligned in HDR software.

"Forgot to clean and get some food for Christmas" - FE35 @ f/2.8, HDR(2s, 8s, 30s), ISO 100

I enjoy boke of FE35 on 95% urban/manmade stuff shots, even it just sucks badly for most of my nature work.

A few from today, first two with FE 55, rest with 90/2 APO. Both are GREAT to use with the A7r

Another with the FE 35 2.8. I am astounded at the detail and dynamic range improvement over my Canon 5D mark II. Lens choice is important too, of course, but both of the FE lenses (expecially the 55) and the Leica 90/2 are enormously enjoyable to use.

Samuli I think you are right, the OOF rendering of the FE35 can be very nice - situational.

This one is the CY Distagon 28/2.8 near minimum focus distance shot near wide open IIRC so not a lot in focus, I just like the mood and colour. Shakily monopoded. One day I need to remember a tripod and a bag of lenses. Or not. Even more shakily post-processed. I found this bamboo grove hiding in the middle of an urban fir and cedar forest and have no idea who planted it. Sadly not all who stumble across it take only photographs.

First three are with the Oly OM 21/3.5. The other two are with the FE35 and 15/2.8 Distagon ZE.
