Just received my A7r with the FE 35/2.8 and Novaflex adapter.

With only 5% charge, first few shots A7r and 50 Cron Rigid DR 1964 with Novaflex adapter No tweaking or cropping. RAW directly into LR 5.3.

First impressions, this is an amazing camera Very intuitive, works wonderfully in terms of ergonomics with third party lenses.

Great to see this thread being filled with photos from fellow alt-members, I am looking forward to more and hopefully I can contribute myself soon since my A7r now has been shipped

*Very* nice depth of field Phillip!

EDIT: 2nd last sheep shot. Wonder if this is a FM feature not to repost images despite same code (?)

Great shot of the those sheep Phillip!

Charles, very nice shots of the native flora, the cron rigid renders very nicely.

Wonderful images -- looks like the A7/r delivers. I also agree about the powerful depth of field in Phillip's Rokkor 58mm shot.

Still on the fence whether to go for 6D or A7 myself, although the answer seems so obvious...

These are truly lovely Phillip. I especially like the macro shot of the frosted leaves.

Noodlz79, that mountain/hill shot is extraordinary!

Edit: Just noticed the green LoCA around the car's emblem in the first shot - looks so intentional I'm wondering if you were actually aiming for that?

Cheers Jaakko! Nice pickup on the LoCA, on shots like this hopefully it's not too disturbing since it could sort of be passed off as reflected colour from the grass and trees

Such amazing shots in this thread already... these cameras are really special. I got my a7r and must say I'm very very impressed with it. As a NEX shooter I feel right at home with all the controls and everything.

All of these photos are straight out of camera jpegs, and have not been processed in any way. Original size is available for all photos.

All photos handheld. I took around 60 photos, and I can't find a single one blurred by camera shake, so I feel the discussion about how hard it would be to use a 36 megapixel camera without stabilazation isn't really valid.

I was surprised by the superb performance of the old Contarex lens... but have a look for yourselves.

Nice. I've got the Canon version and I'm looking forward to using it on the A7 with the Metabones III adapter.

Charles - very nice work! I do love that 50DR but I have way too many 50's as it is.

Phillip - that second last shot is really cool. Love the subject isolation with the Rokkor 58/1.2.

And this is why I can't give up a FF sensor, despite the amazing OM-D and X-E1 that I own.
