Lovely view from your perspective. These are the images that make me forget about the gear used.
Thank you very much, Lawrence! The green heron images are just wonderful!

Ronnie love seeing your Nitro shots and some scenes of your part of the world.
Josh, it's been a long time since I have seen something original from that angle, but I think you got it with the way Halfdome was shrouded. Nice.
Michael, thank you very much! And yes, it is a favorite spot among photographers; there was always a crowd in the morning and in the evening at that spot.

Thanks for the kind words, Joshua! But I assure you, those pics were taken with Otus 55. I spent some time practicing how to shoot with my lenses to stretch my ability with each one from wide-angle-look to short-telephoto look. It explains why I carry 3 heavy lenses every day, but only rarely change from the one mounted on the camera that day.
And your own shot is a delight in every sense!
Philippe, thank you very much! I just thought since your version of the Otus doesn't relay the exif data.... You got a work out at the same time carrying all three heavy lenses. Of course, the images that you generate with them are exquisite.

Sometimes I think my skills at photography have improved a bit, then I come here and realize how much I still have to learn.
Joshua: That landscape shot from Yosemite with the Half Dome in the back and those reflections is simply stunning.
Ronny: Your MF skills remain otherwordly. Many people would struggle to get those shots with AF lenses.
Bob: Wonderful shots on the frozen lake. That one with the sunstar on top of that camping van(?) is pure gold.
Rene: Stunning sea of clouds. I haven't seen one in ages.
Werner: Beautiful monochrome shot. I really like the atmosphere.
Eddie: Those are some amazing lanscape shots on the last few pages.
Philipe: Great perspective and framing in that second shot. Like Joshua this looked more like 28 than 55 to me, but whatever lens you used, great job.
Jannik: Great, atmospheric shot of that willow. Reminds me of Sleepy Hollow .
LBJ: Great BIF shot. The 100-400 GM seems to take both TC's very well.
Loxia 21 stopped down for DOF.

Thank you very much, Chris! This thread is inspirational and I love the cityscape image - keep up the good work!

Hi guys, these are my very first shots from the Sony A7RIII. Still got a long way to go before this camera feels intuitive coming from a DSLR, but very happy with the 12-24. This is Sydney Harbour about 30-40 minutes after sunset.
Welcome on board, Whayne! So, you finally succumbed to the lure of the Sony sensor, huh ? Congrats! Wonderful images from Sydney. One day I will visit that city... I hope before too long.
