Nothing special from me but some test shots with the Zeiss Distagon 35/2ZE with MC-11 on the A7r3. I loved this lens (even more than the 35/1.4) when I shot Canon and love its 3d pop and color. It feels really nice on the A7r3 . . . kind of like the CV65/2 but thinner but not lighter.

Added bonus is that with the MC-11 I get aperture and shutter speed in exif since it's set in camera.

I used to have this lens too, shooting Canon. I had it along with the famous ZE 21/2.8. Small wonder -- I had a built-in desire for the Loxia 21 and 35!

I still have its cousin, the Nikon ZF.2 35/2, and maybe someday there will be an inexpensive AF adapter to mount the Nikon AF lenses to Sony bodies.

Great rendering shown here -- thanks for also including some f/2 shots.

Thanks Jim - I'm looking forward to using the lens a lot at F2 to show off it's character. Right now, I don't mind the extra weight and the feel in the hand is just very solid.

I've been doing a lot of work for my planners these days, check out this bad ass Game Of Thrones themed party they put together. A9 & 16-35GM. the chair was hand made.

Ha, you may be onto something! It's not that I don't want it, its just that I have another project in mind and lack limitless funds.

Maybe it's time to re-examine the books and see what I can squeeze out!

Jealous of Helena and all the snow. We got a light dusting overnight, not much, but enough to use as an excuse to bring out the fat bike and do a short ride with the camera. 3 with the Voigtlander 65mm which is fairly new to me, but seems to live up to the hype.
