An alternative would be to grab a real pack with a rear opening like the Deuter FreeRider Pro (many winter sports backs have rear openings) and an F-Stop ICU. The large shallow ICU fits in the FreeRider Pro and holds my D800 with mounted 24-70, 70-200 VRI, 14-24 and Zeiss 100/2.0 with a bit of extra room in the ICU for filters and batteries. The rest of the pack has plenty of room to mount a tripod, add some water, food, 10 essentials and clothing layers. For longer hikes I like this setup better than my F-Stop Loka. That said, if I'm taking more camera stuff that what's listed my Loka with the Pro ICU is a better choice.
