Reggie and Sarina called me for a second session before their wedding in 2014. We had a blast on a very warm November morning in Santa Cruz. They're both photographers, so that made for some fun, too!

Awesome set! I would straighten #14 though They look really happy and comfortable with you.

Cool, you made it look like they are the only people at the boardwalk.

Where is that field in the first set?

Reggie, I figured that you'd find yourself eventually. Haha.

I thought about straitening #14, but opted not. I have my reasons, but needless to say it seemed to lack something when straigtened.

stevez32, believe it or not, other than a few other photographers and two security guards, we WERE pretty much the only people at the boardwalk!

Well done brother. Seems like you fit their personality well (even though I don't know them. Just feels that way) I personally feel like the non-posed ones shine a 'little' more than the posed. Like #21 .
I like what you did in #4 except I would've stood up just a little more and shot it straighter on . I don't think the lower view adds anything. And also # 14 , just tell them to go back a couple feet and walk towards you holding hands and being happy, you get a lower to the ground and Bam! lol.

Just being nit picky, no disrespect. You did great

I like them a lot. Love the natural interaction and happiness they seem to display, and like the processing as well. Well done.

truehuss, thank you! Much appreciated. I actually like the lower angle of #3, but I can see what you're saying with #14.

Since some people commented on the editing, this is where I get to throw out there that VSCO is my boiler plate edit - just to piss some VSCO haters off. Haha. But I do individually tweak each image and don't just batch edit and call it a day. My clients are valuable to me and deserve better than that.

Really really cool session. My only critique is to totally avoid shooting up towards people with a semi wide or normal lens. #1 is a good example of that. Not a bad photo just not flattering to either of them.
Nicely done

Wow those are pretty awesome!
Photoshop newbie question.. How do you make the photo color so vintage? (#1,5,8,12,13)

Really love #4 and #8 but the whole set is fantastic. I love how they have real expressions towards each other. Great work.
