Ok one more silly one and I’m off to bed. I have an obsession with my 58mm and it’s cooler than yours.

Was shooting with the 24-70 and flash.
Decided to go au natural with the 58g.
Here you go.

Thanks. I need to stop posting so much... Been crazy with using this lens. If I could live with only one lens, this would be it.

Question to 58mm users: Do all of you use this lens wide open to nearly wide open for group shots?

I thought about the D750, then I remembered I have a D4 . You're only loving the D750 so much because you got used to the "autofocus" of the DF

I swear participants in this thread keep spamming photos... with good reason. I went for a drive around Stanley Park today... snapped this on the side of the road.

Wide open, the only way to shoot this lens.

6 seconds? This lens's got some serious VRIIII system I didn't know about?

While editing the latest 3 weddings I shot in September using the 58mm, I must say this: When comparing images shot with a 58mm vs 70-200VRII, the 58mm wins hands down when it comes to portraiture and really, pretty much anything... The look, the feel and the colors are just amazing.

Sometimes I think to myself “what if the client will want to print large, how good/sharp will an image from a 58mm look?” ...And I end up grabbing the 70-200VRII coz’ it’s much sharper than the 58mm.

Does anyone else have this problem?
