This may be a dumb question, but since the Panny 25mm has image stabilization and the Olympus bodies also have in-body stabilization, should the IBIS be turned off when using the lens? I've wondered if the two conflict with one another in any way. I'm not aware of a way to disable stabilization on the lens but can easily do so on the Olympus body. Thanks for any insight.

Certainly qualifies as a dumb question then. Ever wish for a delete button?

We've all been there

But, there is a silver lining - some general information. As a rule of thumb, don't use two different methods of stabilization at the same time. Either use the lens or the body, but not both.

As an aside I just bouight the Pany 14-42 f3.5-5.6 X Vario with Mega OIS. It seems to work fine with my EP-3 though it has no switch to turn the IS off and I can't actually tell whether the IS function is being performed by the lens or the body. Does anyone know?
