It's pretty rare for both the boys and girls teams from one school making it to the state championship game. Both games went into OT. Girls won but the boys lost. C&C always welcome!

Nice set of images, Matt. 2 is my favorite; awesome header capture. Also like the colors and feel to 4.

Nice work, Matt. Good, clean action in 2, 3 and 5; nice isolation in 1 and 4. I'm going with #1 as my favorite. I didn't need your 'caption' (just your previous posts and this photo) to know she's a player. Some pretty sweet results with the 5DIII!

Appreciate the comments Russ. The 5D3 seemed to work okay, issue is I have to work different with it. Especially with potential header timing. Also need to redo the AF micro-adjust with the 400. Thought I had it dialed in but it's still off. Really use to the speed of the X. Spoiled, I know

Matt,
I think i agree with you, i like the action best in number 5. O do see some slight front focus and thus some softness but not too bad. But if you have it, do you have any more space to the lookers-right side from the original crop? I think it would provide better visual que for his forward motion.

Yup, as I mentioned to Russ, the AFMA for the 400+5D3 isn't dialed in as good as I want it. F3.2 or 4.0 probably would have compensated for it. To the right is a partial defender but the crop would look very unnatural and distract the viewer's eye. Thanks for the comment Guy.

Oops, I erred on the compelling comment ref: #5. I really meant #4

It's rare to get a good goalie shot as the action at this level usually is congested and normally obscures them. But every once in a while you get lucky Thanks for the comment Chris!
