A dll got clobbered so I had to download and re-install the NikCollection, AKA CEPro4, SEPro2, etc.. Added to this was Analog Efex Pro, new to me.

Sample image using wet plate texture, bokeh slider, and dust/scratch/ template. A gimmick but certainly has specific uses...easier than hand building in CS

No I have not used it but did hear about it through the forum like Kent stated above. I can't give an opinion one way or the other since I have no experience using it.

I've only done a quick run through to make sure it was working. Here's my first impressions:

It has potential, but default settings on just about everything are too strong. That's OK because you can adjust to taste. I work hard to remove dust and scratches when scanning in my film negatives, I can't imagine using the dust and scratch filter. To me it seems silly. I also use software to remove clicks and pops when digitizing my 78s and LPs. I can't imagine taking a digital source, like a CD, whose big advantage is noise free playback, and artificially introducing noise.

I was interested because I've been thinking about buying Replichrome because I like the look. I thought Analog would give me a similar look. It sort of does, but the settings are not nearly as robust. I'll probably get Replichrome after all.

It's a great free upgrade, but I doubt I would have gotten it if I had to pay.
