My poor man's '600' (FOV) got a nice treat today...fall colors and a pair of cooperative Sandhills.
No tricks, the old D7K was up to the task (handheld and SOOC) I love my job...my client came back
with 1/2 a dozen wall hangers. Gotta like it, this early in da season...just sayin'

Liking these Will, got a go with #2, those folded over wing tips jump out at you.

Got a question, I'm shooting a D7100 and looking to pick up another body, leaning towards a D7000. The D7100 has a software setting that allows you to use sub command wheel to adjust exposure compensation in aperture mode without having to press the little button on top. Does the D7000 have the same option.

Thanks Mike.

more hate Thanks Patsy!
By 600 I mean, the AF-S 300 f4/TC-14E II on the D7K cropper is a 630mm FOV
Probably the cheapest way to get there with the best IQ.

Thanks for the pick, Mike. Yes it does, but I use mine for Easy ISO in A. I really stepped in it
on that 2nd frame...catching the dual head shadows too!

Keep shooting like that and Nikon might decide they don't need to come out with a D400...

Can you lower the quality of your shots just a tad? Just sayin'...

Thank you kindly, Birdie. I'm out every morning at sunrise trying to take advantage of
the colorful BG's. Really, if you shoot enough...some are bound to come out.

Great photos Will,
How come you do not use your D800 in DX mode?

Thanks Joseph. One of the girls I shoot (FB friend) saw me in the upper left corner
of a print she got...didn't have to resize much to change out my 9 yr old avatar.

Thanks a lot, Marty. I'll use the D800 in FX and 1.2 crop mode...seems sacrilegious to mask
anymore of that gorgeous VF. Besides, I can get in pretty close...and as seen here, 1.2 is
just about perfect.
