For commercial photography, your photos are underexposed. You can have strong lighting with blown highlights and deep shadows, but generally speaking, the exposure levels are much brighter so that viewers can easily take in the details of the product that's being highlighted.
On the "About Mike" page, try to stick to references that promote your professionalism. The text is awkward and doesn't flow. Talking about Buddhism and working with kids is largely irrelevant to art directors. List some of your high-profile credits or companies you've worked for in the past. If you've won prestigious awards, mention them by name. Clients don't like taking risks when it comes to their money and projects. You have to show that you're not only talented, but safe to hire.
