Yup. I was really amazed at how well the d5100 got along with this lens. The d5100 originals look slightly sharper than the best ones from the d3s. Of course, the lens might need some AF fine tune on the d3s, plus I was getting some issues with the d3s Dynamic Area focus AF point jumping around on the subjects, but still, I was very impressed with the d5100.
You need one of these 200's, Guy, really you do. It is pure and simple magic, even making my photos look nice.
Next, I am getting a rental d7100 tomorrow for 10 days and want to see how the 200 works on that, along with the d800. You guys will be sick of my dog photos pretty soon, but they're the only thing I have to shoot at a moment's notice that don't care about having photos on the web....
@Grantland -- Yup, you guys were absolutely right. The lens is simply beyond belief, until you experience it for yourself.
