First thought: I think you should open with a stronger image of the b&g. It's a cute idea to start with that detail shot, and I get what you're trying to do, but the first page is incredibly valuable real estate for book design.
My quick impression is that you are trying to use too many photos -- particularly in the earlier portions. It makes it look busy. Not sure if that's because the client picked a lot of photos or because you feel you need that many to tell the story.
In general though, I think the layouts are pretty clean even though a few have too many photos (for my taste).
I'm not sure that introducing a black background makes sense in the middle of the album when almost all the rest are white.
Hope that helps--some of this may just be personal taste.
edited to add: be careful about placement on some of your photos on the spine. you may get some pretty harsh creases/cuts through the middle of people's faces like spreads 4, 11 and possibly 19.
