p.1 #1 · EXIF F-stop vs Max Aperture

Okay, so I just exported some sample images for a Buy and Sell listing, and the EXIF data has me baffled. All images were shot at f/2.8, and the f-stop in Lightroom and the EXIF data reflects that. However, there is another category further down in the details called Max Aperture, and this is listed as 3. In my post, the EXIF data reflects the images as shot as f/3.

Here's an example:

What's up with that?

I have posted abot that on the Feedback Forum. Seems to have something to do with the recent changes to the web site.

All my recent f/5.6 shots posted in Nature and Wildlife have shown f/6 so there is something wrong. The f/4 shots show up as f/4.

Sounds like a rounding issue, as stanj suggested. I'm sure Fred will get it worked out.

I commented about that in a post yesterday with several images all shown at different-than-shot f/stops. At first I thought it was really smart, showing actual f/number of my little G10. I got wise after is did the same to my 1Ds3! Hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks for notifying of the problem, Stan.
