As a user, exclusively, of RAW files for image capture, I don't get the point, so far as RAW files might be involved. The image properties show it to be a JPEG.
I really like to close-up. The angles work together well.
The second one has some distracting material (twig?) bottom left and there seems to be a small flare spot across the right leg, although it could be bokeh. Either way, the latter draws the eye and some blur, etc. might be beneficial. I would crop out the twig and also crop to take out that small section of leg joint near the bottom of the frame.
