Chris... I am not a big message board poster, but I thought I would echo a few things some of the others have posted.
#6 is the winner by a long shot in terms of color, composition and the story of high school football. The colors and they guys in the background make the image. The camera angle for this shot ended up being perfect; if you had been too low, the shot would not have worked as well. The angle appears a little higher than most of the shots I like from stadiums.
Your background is clean and displays colors that NFL and Collegiate stadiums could never display. It is just a great picture that represents fall football at its best...
The night images appear to be suffering from major color balance issues... I have never shot with my ISO so high, so I am curious if this is the normal look from images shot that hight... If it was, I would probably convert them to B&W.
Shot 8 is focused on the defensive back versus the two players interaction; just my opinion, but this is probably not your best image of the bunch. It is a far cry from #6... It is one of the those images that would have been pretty solid if your camera position had been where the player in red was coming straight towards you... Unfortunately, the DB hosed you!
Shot 10 is a solid image but if there was anything to take away from it, the background is a little distracting. All in all, not every image can be what #6 is.
Shot 9 (Last image) is a solid image as well... I think it would have benefitted from a lower camera angle... Out of your control is the direction he dives. This is where you win some loose some and other times get a solid image. For a game take this one and #10 are solid shots...
Again, I know I do not post a lot, and know that my opinion is only that... Others may have a different take. That is fine... Overall, pretty solid work with one great one... Not bad for a couple games.
