I was just going through some images that i took the other day using my new 6D. I noticed that in the out of focus areas on the left and right of some of the images it looks as though the rocks have been duplicated somewhat. I've posted the original image plus a 100% crop of the problem areas... hoping someone could have a look for me and figure out what is going on. The image was taken with a 6D and Sigma 50 1.4. Apeture was 1.4

That's the 50 f1.4 at 1.4.

Were you using a filter?

Thanks Paul. Wasn't sure if it was just lens or something with the camera. There was no filter.

Apparently thats normal for that lens under certain cercumstances, here is a bit from a review

Perhaps more problematic, though, is the presence of quite strong bokeh chromatic aberration, which is magenta in front of the focus plane and green behind. This is most visible at wide apertures with their associated extremely narrow depth of field, and can result in a strong fringing artifacts in high contrast regions.
