TIFF Problem

I am experiencing an issue with a few of my TIFF files which never happened to me before.

I worked on a handful of images, flattened all layers and now want to convert into Black & White with Silver Efex.

The problem however is I can not access many of the filters, or even change the Mode (from 16 bit to 8 bit for example), as the options are grey...

Can anyone help with this ?

Most appreciated.

Mark

What is the mode of the images? Multichannel is the only one I can think of that causes a gray-out of bit choices (other than bitmap), but it seems an unlikely cause.

I think "how are you saving them" is the question he's asking.

It's the question I would ask anyway. What options, what mode, what depth, etc.

I developed the RAW images in Lightroom and then export in 16 bit TIFF RGB...

The reason this is odd is that I'm doing my routine but either I've done something wrong along the way or there is some sort of bug with CS6...

Can you post one of the files for downloading so we can have a look at it?

That's not "a file for downloading we can have a look at". - you know that right?

Maybe pick one of these: http://startpage.com/do/search?cat=web&cmd=process_search&language=english&query=free+file+hosting&ff=

I just tested with filedropper and it worked fine: http://www.filedropper.com/1070955 with no signup needed.

Your image loads with the quick mask on. Just press the "Q" key to exit quick mask and all the image/mode options will be available.

This is option #3 given to you a couple days ago on dpreview.
