Mr. Lee of the FM Nature and Wildlife forum spotted me while we were both at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study area on Long Island, New York about a week ago. He pointed out this juvenile yellow crowned night heron hiding behind some brush next to one of the bridges. He watched as I slowly crawled up to my minimum focus distance and took these photos. Thank you for spotting this wonderful opportunity Mr. Lee.

All are with my D200, 80-400 VR, SB800, and the last two after I rolled onto my back, took my 1.4x TC out of my pocket and mounted it while the heron watched me.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
