Cool perspective Jim. Very different. It might be a tad tight on the left side but not a huge deal. How many shots did you need to blend for exposure here? I have some mid day waterfall shots including sky and I need minimum 5 shots for dynamic range. So annoying!

Hey Justin, thanks so much. I think I will try to get back up there next spring and try this again, maybe going wider too. As for the DR, it's just one shot.... the wonder of the D800...

Great shot ... kudos for the composition and perspective. It has a very slight HDR look to me but I like it a lot nevertheless.

Well done Jim. It has great color and presence. Great inclusion of the falls -- I really like this comp.

Nice job finding a unique perspective. I don't know if I would have recognized it if you didn't give us the name. Also making it look wild and off the beaten path although it is anything but. Brian

Hi Jim,

I'm probably going to get killed for this but if you used your Nikon D800 for this then I'd be surprised as the D800 is much better than this.

I personally feel that the image is way over processed and very soft at the edges (lens wise) and overly 'crunchy'.. meaning that I feel that the image is way over sharpened.

To me it looks like the early days of digital photography and something that was over processed from something like a Nikon D70.

Just my thoughts..

Cheers,
Nigel Turner.
