Am I missing the obvious? There must already be a Nikon thread of film images. Unless it's been mothballed.
I didn't see one with the FM search feature, but that isn't definitive.
I haven't had a Nikon film camera since the late 80s with a FE2 used for architectural shots with the 28mm PC lens. Kind of weird to buy a camera now (N50), but it came with a lens I wanted (AF 28-85), and had a SB24 flash for only $66. Hard to pass up!
The N50 works, and maybe it's different film, different Costco processing, different LR5, but the images look more appealing to me. I went so far as to buy a later model (N80) with a little more control. Practically free -- $20 plus shipping from San Diego. Jeez! Pretty soon these bodies will be used for mugging tourists.
Not that I'm abandoning digital!
Anyhow, if there are already film threads floating around, my apologies.
N50, AF 28-85, Fuji Superia 100, Costco develop and scan, LR5 adjustments to JPGs. Tested on-camera flash today on the last shot.
