Thanks, those were all my old 500mm (I have a 600mm now)

Here's a few more. The speed of the D4 really helped with the first shot - only one image had the perfect "look" - even at 10 FPS.

Not only do you're images just blast away this intense realism (and over the web!) the post work you do is in a word..... perfect. They say one of the hallmarks of a great photo is making you want to look at it.. I want to look at these all day long. Just perfection personified. Comment given sans the orifice smoke...

I will attempt to chime in here in acouple of weeks with some new sports shots from myself as opening night for the Colorado Eagles hockey team is around the corner. I just got my D4 about a week and a half ago.

IM totally impressed with the "flagship" line of cameras from both Nikon and Canon. They are in the class of their own and that is the reason why they cost so much also. What you throw at them they can handle with out breaking a sweat.

OK dumb question for you Mr. Perry...

Where the heck in Ohio do you find Polar Bears in the wild to photograph
