You rarely see someone shooting "Wet Plate Tintype Photography" but the amazing Greg Hopkins was documenting this years Rodders Journal Antique & Hot Rod show at Pimlico Race Track. The tintype process became very popular in the United States, particularly during the Civil War. They continued to enjoy significant use throughout the 19th century for inexpensive portraits, especially by street photographers. This art then all but died off and now there are a handful of photographers around the world carrying out this form of art!
