A dewy daybreak behind where I'm living.

Living rough at the moment and learning a few things, feel like a real newb.
I converted to mono using http://photo.net program. Its all I got right now. I horizontally flipped it.
(I do have a CD of Lightroom 1 or 2 somewhere but I'm not sure if this old PC would run it ok. No time to play with pix much either.)

I like the comp and mood you captured here.
Maybe try to get the aperture down to about f22 for a better sunstar.

...and play with exposure and angles to get the shine of the dew.

Take two.
Here is another go from RAW.

This time a week ago I did not have my Lightroom set up. I managed to get it going, I found my old license key. Pixmantec ver 1.0.3 from 2006 (). When it asked to auto update it couldn't find pixmantec..

Ok, the foreground wire is gone and I softened the photo. When I sharpened it even a tad, the droplet highlights looked unattractive or over sharpd.

I just realised the softning, the 'warming' effect and the square crop makes it look authentically retro, so nostalgic, like it came from my mum's old Instamatic.

What is a Instamatic? a Kodak camera that sold from 1963 to 1988 -apparently someone still loves them.

So now I know how to that. An old 5D, a 20mm Nikkor f3.5 prime and PP.
