Can someone tell me what kind of tree this is? Is it a Foxtail Pine?

This was this past Sunday, California State Route 88 just east of where Mormon Emigrant Trail intersects. I think the altitude was 7500-8000 feet.

Looks like one of the Bristlecone pines to me; either Pinus longaeva or Pinus balfouriana.

Might be a Bristlecone.

According to wikipedia, Bristlecones (Pinus balfouriana) are the same as Foxtail Pines.

FWIW: there are actually three different species of Bristlecone pine; amongst them the Foxtail Pine and the Great Basin Bristlecone Pine. They are both found in California, that's why the location and elevation (that Dan mentioned) are so important. My guess would be the Foxtail Pine (Pinus balfouriana).
