p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · DC Wedding overlooking The White House

Hey folks. Here's a recent wedding i'd like some c&c on. Always looking to reduce the total amount, and always looking for feedback. Sorry about the images that are small, they're formatted for my blog (http://jeffsimpsonphoto.com/blog/)

Shot at the incredible hay-adams. Luckily for us we've been shooting a lot there this year.

ty!

Nicewedding, really bright and airy. I think the last shot could have been a huge winner but I can't help but notice and stare at his hands in his pocket. It gives me the impression he's disinterested and uncomfortable. Love this light though. Great work

Nice solid set, bright and airy as mentioned above.

I also agree on the last shot, it had so much potential but it all got lost when his hand was in his pocket.

Great points on the last shot. I may have one with his hand on her and in a better position.. i'll have to check.

Set works really well together. May I suggest either more (i.e., obviously deliberate) tilt or less tilt (i.e., straight) in number 30? It is slight enough that it looks mostly accidental to my eye.

Generally, I like your lighting, and you've done a nice job of including parts of the city.

Hay-Adams- man, what a dumpy-trashy hovel. Clearly not worthy of someone of my stature staying a night there like Days Inn or Super 8 are.

On a serious note, great images. Did you have to navigate any bureaucratic hoops to get #38?

Not really, but upon leaving my quadra ranger octabank outside (on a light stand) i was promptly told to bring it in since they have had "recent issues with the white house snipers". so i did

"Jeff, WTF happened to your quadra?"

"It got shot....really."

Great work as always.
