p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · How is the Olympus E-M5's AF performance like with the 4/3 Olympus 50-200mm SWD? | |
I did a quick search on Google and it seems like the performance is average at best. I know that the lens is designed for a PDAF system. I get that. I don't mind the 1-2 second AF speed that the lens seem to be getting with the E-M5 as I'm shooting mostly static objects (landscape and general travel photography). What really concerns me is AF accuracy. Unless I'm mistaken, it seems like even with the E-M5's CDAF solution, the lens can mis-focus at times.
What's your experience like with this lens? Again, I value AF accuracy very much and if AF accuracy is less than 95% of the time, then I'm probably getting off waiting for the m4/3 40-150mm f/2.8 Zuiko lens.
