p.1 #1 · Programming AF chip (dandelion) on MF lenses

hi guys
i have a question about programming a AF confirmation chip, so called "dandelion".
i want to use my minolta rokkor 58mm f1.2 lens on my kodak slr/c and the camera won't fire unless the AF light is on but AF confirmation light isn't always accurate so it's frustrating not to be able to press the shutter when I think the focus is right on.

I found that I could program the chip to change the lens to MF mode, in which case I can actuate the shutter whenever I want.
However, I couldn't figure out how to get the chip into program mode on my Kodak camera.

My question is: does anyone know how to get the chip into program mode on a Kodak slr/c?
if not, would changing the lens to MF mode on a different camera also take effect on my slr/c?

thanks in advance.
